Panda gold coin
China issued its first gold coins picturing an adorable Panda design in 1982, in sizes of 1, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/10 troy oz. of 999 fine gold. Ever since then, these Panda coins have appreiciated in value many times over bullion price. Although Panda gold coins are issued as bullion coins, they usually command a higher premiun due to it’s popularity worldwide.
For example, in 1982, only 15,815 1 ounce gold series were minted worldwide. Currently, this date is fetching for at least $3000.00
